How can I cancel my paid subscription?
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time by through an Admin panel.
Is there a free trial available?
Yes, you can try Actifile absolutely free for 14 days with no obligations. You can cancel your trial at any time and convert to a paid subscription.
How can I pay for my subscription plan?
You can pay for your Actifile subscription with the Credit / Debit Card provided while registering your account in Actifile.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we also offer two months for free in exchange for an annual subscription.
We need to add more people to our team. How will that be billed? You will be able to add users to your group based on your subscription plan. In case you need to add more users, which translates in to more licences, you can upgrade your subscription and you will be charged accordingly.
Are all my documents secure?
Actifile agent will automatically back up all your files according to the upload settings. We encrypt the files during the transfer and storage to ensure your documents are secure. Actifile agent will not upload files form removable media or network drives.
How secure is Actifile?
Protecting the data you trust to Actifile is our first priority. We use physical, procedural, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your files. We host data in secure SSAE 16 / SOC1 certified data centers and encrypt data during transfer and storage. We implement access restrictions on our servers to better protect your information. Actifile also work with third party security experts to ensure our practices are secure.
Who can view my uploaded files?
Your files will be visible to people specifically authorized by your company's Senior management.
Why Actifile vs. other cloud back up options?
Compared to other back up options, which back up certain folders, Actifile agent works in the background and automatically backs up all relevant files on your workstation. We also keep track of earlier file version. Actifile agent is easy to install and does not require any ongoing configuration. With auto update feature, the latest version of Actifile agent gets automatically updated and no manual intervention is required.
Can I delete my profile and all uploaded files?
You own your data and we shall delete the files form our cloud storage should you chose to deactivate your Actifile account and delete the files.
Can I disable or enable specific file types from being uploaded?
By default Actifile uploads all the files configured in the system. Business and Enterprise subscriptions will have an option to enable or disable a specific file extension in the system.
How can I search my uploaded files?
There is a wide range of search filters available in the system to facilitate the searching of your files.
Can I share the uploaded files?
You can share uploaded files with other users added to your account.
Can I set up different back up options?
Yes, for Business and Enterprise paid subscription plans you can select which file types will be uploaded by Actifile agent.
How can I recover an uploaded files?
There is a download link to download the required files.
How many workstations that can be connected to Actifile?
This depends on the subscription plans you have opted for.
Will Actifile work with slow internet connections or behind firewalls?
Actifile agent will utilize whatever internet connection is available.The faster the connection, the faster the files will be uploaded or downloaded. Your corporate firewall needs to allow data traffic on port 443.
Can I upload a file of any size?
The maximum file size limit depends on your subscription plan and varies from 250 MB to 5 GB.
Can I upload as many files as I need?
Yes, you can upload as many files as needed provided you do not acced the maximum storage capacityspecified in your subscription plan. Enterprise subscription plan provides unlimited storage capacity.
How will my files get uploaded to Actifile?
Once you install Actifile agent and log in with your username and password, the agent will automatically upload all files types specified by your account administrator.
Do I need to start the Actifile Agent on a daily basis after I log on to my Computer?
No, once you install the Actifile agent it will be automatically loaded when you start your workstation and will upload all relevant files.
Is there an on-premise version of Actifile?
We are passionate about our cloud services and are committed to ensuring the highest security of your data. We don't plan to offer an internally hosted deployment of Actifile.
